  • 2 Great-crested grebes,
  • a singing Song thrush,
  • 60+ Common gulls, 2 Lesser Black-Backed gulls, 45+ Black-headed gulls (Brandon Anderson).
Wanstead Flats:
  • Lesser Spotted Woodpecker (Marco Johnson),
  • 4 Greater Spotted Woodpecker, 3 Green Woodpecker,
  • 10+ Meadow Pipit, 4 Pied Wagtail,
  • 20+ Redwing (more sub-song in Long Wood), 2 singing Song Thrush, 4 Mistle Thrush (1 singing),
  • 4 Reed Bunting (2 singers SSSI),
  • 13 Siskin, Lesser Redpoll, 9+ Goldfinch,
  • 8 Skylark (4 singers),
  • Kestrel (south over Forest Gate),
  • 3 Coal Tit (Wanstead Park Avenue), Long-tailed Tit,
  • 12 Shoveler (8 east over Long Wood), 5 Gadwall, 6 Tufted Duck, 2 Pochard, 1 Egyptian Goose (juv), 7 Greylag Goose, trilling Little Grebe, 2 Grey Heron (NC)
Wanstead Park:
  • 2 Water Rail (w end Perch, River Roding),
  • Lesser Spotted Woodpecker (the Dell),
  • 2 Bullfinch, 12 Linnet, flocks of Siskin (OSW, Dell, Perch, Reservoir Wood),
  • 2 Fieldfare (north), 20+ Redwing (sub-singing in trees next to the cemetry), singing Mistle Thrush,
  • 3 Stock Dove, 2 Coal Tit,
  • 2 Grey Heron, 2 Little Grebe, Teal, 4 Gadwall, 33 Tufted Duck, 3 Pochard (NC)
  • (Jenny Chandler reported a Tree Sparrow that visited her garden on two consecutive days this year)
