Ilford, Ingleby Road:
- Garden sightings: several Siskins, Goldcrest, Blackcap (male) and Great Spotted Woodpecker all visited the fat/seed feeders several times followed by a fox. Cheered us up no end. (John Crick)

- singing Mistle Thrush, singing Song Thrush, 17 Redwing (Tim Harris had a Redwing singing subsong yesterday in the Park), 7 Pochard, 16 Tufted Duck, 17 Shoveler, 14 Gadwall, 12 Greylag Goose, 2 Snipe (SSSI and 1 Cat and Dog pond), 6 Reed Bunting, c.30 Lesser Redpoll, 4 Siskin, 14 + Greenfinch, Kestrel (Nick Croft).

- Jan 30th - Wanstead Park: f Goosander (Perch, apparently seen yesterday on the Ornamental Waters), Yellowhammer (flushed from the River Roding), 50 + Siskin, Coal Tit (Bush Wood), 62 Tufted Duck, 9 Pochard, 33 Gadwall, 4 Shoveler, 2 Egyptian Goose, 3 Grey Heron, Ring Necked Parakeet, 4 Little Grebe, Cormorant, 7+ Goldcrest (Treecreeper reported) (NC)
