Valentino the Valentines Park Mediterrean Gull, by Emma Charles - 16th Jan

Some excellent snapshotz of our very own star bird Valentino.... check the difference between him and the Black Headed Gulls

Val has slightly bigger and rounder head

he has no black wingtips - they are pure white..

his breeding plumage is already beginning to show. and the black head goes much further down the back of the neck than the BHGulls, (and is much darker too)

his bill is much brighter too!
