Gants Hill, Roll Gardens:
  • Coal Tit, 7.15 on the feeder
  • also Great Spotted Woodpecker (Alan Thomas)

Roding Valley Park, central:

  • Redwing and Greenfinch in the adjacent playing fields
  • Grey Heron on Redbridge Lakes (where the cafe is now up and running by the way)
  • and Song Thrush and Long Tailed Tit in RVP itself. (AHobson)

South Park:

  • Kingfisher (Bon Jenner)

Wanstead Flats:

  • prob juv Cuckoo north,
  • Fieldfare south-east
  • possible Yellow-Browed Warbler with Goldcrest and Tit flock north of Long Wood where the scrub gets squeezed by Centre Road and the other one - NC/Stuart Thorpe),
  • c100 Redwing, 20+ Song Thrush, juv Stonechat (scrubeast of Alexandra Lake), 10+ Mistle Thrush,
  • Also 30+ Meadow Pipit, 15 Pied Wagtail, 20+ Skylark, 20+ Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Lesser Redpoll flock (north down centre road), Siskin, 5 Goldfinch, 4 Reed Bunting, 7 Swallow, 3 Grey Heron, 2 Cormorant, Sparrowhawk, 2 Kestrel, 1 Chiffchaff, 3 Goldcrest, 4 Pochard, Green Woodpecker (no Great Spotted today!), 40+ Jackdaw etc. (Nick Croft/Stuart Thorpe)(Nick Croft).
