Claybury Park:
  • Grey Heron flew low out of the park over Tomswood Hill, and seemed to land in a Hainault garden

Fairlop Waters:

  • 8 mute Swan, 311 Canada Geese, 14 Greylag Geese
  • 60 Mallard, 56 Tufted Duck, 13 Shoveler, 13 Teal, 9 Gadwall
  • 6 Little Grebe
  • 52 Coot, 40 Moorhen
  • 1 Grey Heron
  • 84 Black Headed Gull, 71 Common Gull, Herring Gull, Lesser Black Backed Gull
  • 2 Pied Wagtail (golf course/boating lake)
  • 4 Robin, 2 Dunnock, Wren
  • Song Thrush,
  • 11 Great Tit, 5 Blue Tit, 8 Long Tailed Tit, 4 Chaffinch
  • 2 Green Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker
  • 2 male Pheasant on Hainault Farm, by the spit
  • few Wood Pigeon, Collared Dove, 3 Stock Dove

  • flock of 500 Starlings on the paddock behind he stables with a c30 Redwing and 30 Fieldfare
  • 7 Linnet by the clubhouse
  • 70+ Carrion Crow, 15 Magpie, 2 Jackdaw
  • 3 Skylark flying over Fairlop Plain (calling)

Hainault Recreational Ground:

  • c30 Redwings on the ground with a few Starlings

Ilford, Tavistock Gardens:

  • pair of Jackdaw prospecting (PVaughn)

Wanstead Park:

  • female Tawny Owl, near COL Cemetery at 6pm (SFisher)

Woodford Bridge, St. Pauls Church:

  • Robin singing on a gatepost.

Barking Park: (just outside the borough)

  • Little Egret, Kingfisher (PVaughn)
