Roding Valley Park: Woodford Bridge

  • Little Egret

Fairlop Gravel Works:

  • (south side) DE-Hull/JMak
  • 50+ Lapwings, 50+ Starlings, 3 Grey Heron and Pheasent on the ploughed field
  • 2 Hobbies still being vocal
  • Buzzard still present circling!
  • Gadwall and Teal on the pool... with the usual suspects, and 4 Cormorants (juv)
  • 5 Yellow Wagtail
  • Stonechat, Whinchat (AAB)

Roding Valley NR: (just outside the borough)

  • Little Egret;
  • 5 Wigeon; 4 Gadwall;
  • Sparrowhawk;
  • 40 Swallows; 18 Pied Wagtail. (BJ)

Wanstead Flats:

  • 7:20am-8:30am: 6 Skylark, 7 Meadow Pipit,
  • Whinchat, 4 Mistle Thrush,
  • 2 Swallow,
  • 3 Lesser Whitethroat, 4 Blackcap, Willow Warbler, 4 Chiffchaff,
  • Greenfinch, up to 6 Jay busy storing acorns, 4 Jackdaw (J Lethbridge).

Epping Forest, New Road, Woodford:
