• 9 Swifts over Wanstead Flats (first of the year) (Jonathan Lethbridge)
• 2 Sparrowhawk and a Kestrel
• Whitethroat, Blackcap, Chiffchaff
• Little Ringed Plover (over) (SFisher)
• 1 Tree Pipit, 1 Whinchat, 2 Wheatear, 2 Lesser Whitethroat (SFisher)

Clayhall:

• 2 Kestrels over Beale School (JMakengo)

Gants Hill:

• 2 Adult Dunnock and a juvenile in a garden (AThomas)
• 4 Swifts at 7pm (AT)
• Grey Heron in the direction of Woodford Avenue.

Chigwell: (just outside the borough)

• Chigwell Car Boot Sale (near David Lloyd)
• Kestrel and Chiffchaff both very active
• Jay
• Grey Heron being mobben boy Carrion Crows

Hainault Forest:

• 5 Sparrowhawks, including 1 pair defending their territory against another pair (Peter Gordon)
• Cuckoo calling for over an hour near Hainault Golf Course
• ** Wryneck ** feeding on the ground, near the 12th hole on the lower golf course.
• Swift (over) (PGordon)

Fairlop Waters:

• Grasshopper Warbler reeling, 50 yards into the scrub beyond the end of the Fishing Club car park (Neil Twyford/Alan Bell)
• 20 Swifts (Alan Bell)
