COLLARED DOVE

Collared Dove: Resident Breeding

Considering Collared Doves have only been resident in the UK for a short time, (60 years) they are doing remarkably well. They are common throughout the borough. But are best seen at South Park, or Goodmayes Park, where they congregate on the islands, sometimes in impressively large numbers. Or on the lamp columns on Aldborough Road North (Aldborough Hatch) where up to 30 may be present.

Listing all the sightings, would be a full time (unpaid) job.
